PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Social security and insurance
All students must have personal health insurance.
European Union students may be covered by their European Health Insurance Card : http://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=559#navItem-related Topics Private complementary health insurance is optional.
l’ELMAD admissions procedure also requires students to be covered by a 3rd-party liability insurance policy (usually included in home insurance contracts in France, also available separately from insurance companies).

Housing
There is no campus, or on-site accommodation, and students are responsible for making their own housing arrangements. It can be difficult to find reasonably-priced short‐term accommodation in the Paris region. In order to rent a room or flat you may be asked for a third-party guarantor and one month’s deposit in advance. A home insurance certificate is required unless you are renting a room in the residence of a homeowner. You may be eligible for a housing allowance for students to help with rent payments, see here : https://www.caf.fr/presse-institutionnel/international/francais-etranger
